Meet Dr. Jamielee

Dr. Jamielee Shanahan  has been serving the perinatal, pediatric, and family wellness community in and around the North Attleboro, Massachusetts area since 2011. She is a compassionate and fun-loving chiropractor originally from southern New Hampshire.  After years of competitive martial arts and college rugby injuries, Dr. Jamielee experienced her first chiropractic adjustment and new love for natural healthcare. While receiving her bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in biodynamics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Jamielee was always fascinated about how bodies moved. The idea that we can not only optimize the strength and movement efficiency of a person, but also the entire health and function of the nervous system by removing tension and small interferences in their spine, pushed Dr. Jamielee to explore the world of wellness chiropractic  care.

In South Carolina she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) at Sherman College. During her 4 years at Sherman. Dr. Jamielee started a yoga club and was the president of Sherman's chapter of World Congress of Chiropractic Students. As she got deeper into her studies, her passion for prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care grew and she knew that optimizing a woman's body through the perinatal period and clearing interference in the bodies of infants, children and families was her calling. Dr. Jamielee is certified in the Webster (prenatal chiropractic) technique by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and  uses a gentle combination of Network, Bio-Geometric Integration, Logan, Diversified, Thompson, and Activator techniques.

Dr. Jamielee runs a home practice, Harmony Chiropractic, in North Attleboro, MA. This welcoming space aims to teach, connect, and support local families and holistic practitioners. She  lives  with her husband, two daughters, two dogs and eleven chickens and is an outspoken gardening enthusiast. In 2016 she founded the non-profit "Bloom: Gardening For Good" that runs a community charity farm stand and teaches gardening workshop around the community and in local schools. As a mother, she loves to share ideas with other families at local parenting, birthing and holistic family groups. Her love for CrossFit and staying active helps drive her other passion of helping athletes reach their full athletic performance potential with chiropractic care. Dr. Jamielee is honored to serve her community through chiropractic and wants to help inspire others to actively participate in their health.
